Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
The Slow Brush (the “Site”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information the Site collects, why, and what your choices are.
What we collect
Basic web analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are read and roughly where readers come from. We do not track individuals across the web and we do not sell or share this data.
Outgoing affiliate clicks. When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (for example, Amazon) may set cookies on its own domain. The Slow Brush does not receive your personal information from those cookies — only an anonymous signal that a purchase originated from our link. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.
Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, your message and email address are used only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit opt-in.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not run third-party advertising on this site.
- We do not use profiling or behavioural targeting.
- We do not share your contact information with anyone.
Cookies
Essential cookies are used to remember display preferences (such as light/dark mode). You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not break the site, but some preferences may reset.
Your rights
You may ask us, at any time, what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email the address on the contact page and we will reply within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the home page.
